Popular Nollywood actress, Funmi Holder has revealed that she does not believe in the word recession.

Recall that Nigeria was some months ago pronounced to be in recession by the Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun.

Speaking on the current economic situation in the country, the actress begged Nigerians to give the president more time to fix Nigeria up.

The Tinsel star in an interview with The Nation further noted that Buhari is not a magician.

She said: “Well, fortunately for me, I do not believe in the word ‘recession’ and what you do not believe in cannot be a part of your existence, so, no economic crisis in my world.”

The actress further appealed to the Federal Government to fix the country as fast as possible.

“I can only appeal that they do their best in stabilizing the economy as quickly as they can.

“It can’t be easy to come into power and do magic. It’s a process.

“We need to support our president.”
