Popular actress, Jada Pinkett-Smith has disclosed that she used to be a porn addict.
She made the disclosure on Red Table Talk, a popular Facebook Watch series she hosts alongside her daughter, Willow, and mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Pinkett-Smith said that she used to have an “unhealthy relationship” with porn at a point in her life when she was trying to practice abstinence and was not in a relationship.
She noted that the “little addiction” ended up creating “false expectations” about sexual relationships.
“If I was still on my porn game, I’d be able to show you some good porn,” she said to her daughter Willow and mother Adrienne shortly before the episode began.
“Back in the day I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness,” she said. “…Maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence.”
She also expressed worries that kids were getting exposed to porn.
She added that she was “profoundly disturbed” when she found out that 10-year-old Willow’s Tumblr page contained a lot of graphic porn images.
