France international, Ousmane Dembele has said he is not affected by stiff competition at the Camp Nou, adding that he will work hard to establish himself at the club.

He vowed to stay at the club for a very long time, even beyond his initial five-year deal.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger arrived Barcelona in the summer in a deal totalling €147 million but has struggled to establish himself.

He has only started seven of his 12 league appearances for the Blaugrana and did not start either of the two-legged quarterfinal game against AS Roma.

Dembele has been out for four months due to a thigh muscle injury but he believes he is gradually returning to full fitness and will improve his game as his fitness peaks.

He told Telefoot, “I signed a five-year contract at Barcelona. I’m going to be in Barcelona a very long time. I’m not going to leave after a season.”

He added, “I’m not in my best form , but little by little , it’s coming back. I still have to work on my cardio because I get tired very quickly.”
