World Cup Best Young Player, Kylian Mbappe has said he would not be sleeping this night following France’s triumph at Russia 2018.

Didier Deschamps’s team overcame a determined Croatia side 4-2 at the Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday afternoon as Les Blues won their second World Cup ever.

The 19-year-old Mbappe, who contributed four goals to the feat, said he won’t sleep as he would be busy celebrating with his teammates.

Speaking to French television station TF1, as reported by AFP, Mbappe said, “ Sleep comes easy to me, but I’ m not going to bed, we are going to celebrate this.

“We’ll return to work in a few weeks.”

Saying he’s happy to make the French people feel proud, the Paris Saint Germain forward added, “We’ re conscious that we also had this role . We can see that they are putting all their problems to one side.

“We play for this sort of thing.”

On the World Cup triumph, Mbappe said it was “a passport to continue working and to do even better.”
