Ibadan Set To Debut As Host Of The International Food And Drinks Festival

This Easter, Ibadan, West Africa’s largest city,is set to debut as host  of the interational food and drinks festival.

The festival,which has a theme of fun for thrill seeker  most especially  families with a unique   interest in food and drinks, will commence  on Friday, 30th of March till Sunday, 1st of April, 2018 at the Ibadan Recreation Club, Adamasigba, Ibadan.

Speaking on the upcoming event, the Project Coordinator, Mr Clemence Eki detailed over 20,000 guests  and blue chip  brands in the food and drink sector are expected to turn out for the event which is moulder in the spirit  of worldwide festivals worldwide.

“Specifically, we are putting this event together to further create value for big players (brands) and SMEs in the food and drink sector of our economy by bringing them together under one roof of unlimited sales opportunities. ”

“More importantly also is to create a very good ambience for fun loving Nigerians especially families to enjoy the season of Easter which stretches through the duration of the event”. said the project coordinator.

Eki further described what people were to expect from the festival

“ The international food and drinks festival has been held all over the world to much acclaim. Ibadan, being a major city in Nigeria and with her pride of place in the nation’s history being hosts to the premier university, the first TV station, the first stadium amongst many others, presents us the obvious choice to host the Nigerian version. We guarantee three days of fun, great food and drinks, both local and continental.” said Eki
