Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he is leaving Manchester United.

The 36-year-old Swede made the announcement on his verified Twitter page on Thursday evening.

Since moving to England as a free agent in 2016, Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals in an injury-plagued two years.

The former PSG striker has enjoyed an ambitious and highly decorated career playing for Europe’s biggest clubs – winning titles with AC Milan, Barcelona, Ajax, Inter and Man United.

Before his decision to quit the club, Ibrahimovic was recovering from a long injury layoff after damaging his ACL last year and made just five Premier League appearances this season for the Red Devils after suffering from a fresh knee injury

His next club has not been announced.
