Hollywood couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are currently in the news after Will slapped Oscars host, Chris Rock over jokes he deemed disrespectful of his wife.
Moments before he scooped the Best Actor prize, Will stormed the stage and landed a slap on Chris Rock’s face for a joke about Jada’s hair, causing perhaps the biggest scandal in the award’s 94-year history.
Will and Jada’s marriage has come under focus in recent years after it emerged that Jada, 50, had been romantically linked with 29-year singer, August Alsina in 2020.
During an episode of her popular talk show, Red Table Talk on July 10, 2020, she had called the relationship with Alsina an “entanglement” which occurred when she was separated from Will.
However, during an interview with E! News host Laverne Cox at the 2022 SAG Awards red carpet, Jada stated that there would be no more entanglements in their marriage going forward.
Cox said, “We can’t wait for more Red Table Talk and more entanglements.”
In her response, a smiling Jada said, “No more of those!”
