Igbos Are Now Slaves In Nigeria – Monarch

A prominent monarch and nonagenarian, Eze Demond Ogugua has cried out on the present state of Ndigbo in the country of today.

The monarch lamented that the Ndigbo are now being treated as slaves in their country.

Eze Ogugua also called on the President, Muhammadu Buhari to send a team comprised of trusted and sincere aides to access the grave situation of the Igbo land adding that there are abandoned road projects all over the land.

While further lamenting the underdevelopment and neglect the area is faced with, Eze Ogugua lamented: “South East region has been neglected. We have no roads. We are now slaves in Nigeria.

“We have suffered a lot, enough is enough, Buhari should order all the contractors on the abandoned projects to return back to sites and resume work on them”.
