“I’m a Changed Person” – Zinoleesky Says Fatherhood Transformed His Life and Habits

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Oniyinde Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has opened up about how becoming a father has reshaped his life and mindset.

The Mapariwo crooner, who welcomed his first child, a daughter named Zendaya, in December 2023, and his second child, a son named Zafar, in April 2024, shared that fatherhood has brought a profound sense of responsibility and personal growth.

Speaking during a recent interview with Adesope Olajide on Adesope Live, Zinoleesky reflected on how the arrival of his children inspired him to abandon certain negative habits and stay focused on building a stable future.

“Fatherhood means quite a lot because I will say I’m a changed person since my boy got here,” Zinoleesky said.

“There are some things that I would have done before or let’s say the way I do some things I have reduced just because of the boy. I have to keep my head down, keep my head straight. And, it has been a blessing, too.”

The Marlian Music artist, known for his introspective lyrics and smooth delivery, also noted that being a dad has helped him prioritize what truly matters in his life and career.
