The leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has announced that he is back in the United Kingdom from Israel, where he escaped to from Nigeria.
He made the announcement in a tweet on Saturday, and added a photo.
The Director of outlawed Radio Biafra also said he would continue his work to “liberate” Biafra from his base in the United Kingdom.
He tweeted: “I am back in the UK to continue our excellent work to liberate #Biafra from the pit of darkness, Nigeria.
“Fulani cabal with their Herdsmen, ISIS and Boko Haram must not be allowed to conquer us. Let Justice Onnoghen’s humiliation unite us as one Biafran family.”

Kanu, a British-Nigerian citizen, escaped from Nigeria in September 2017, hiding under an invasion of his hometown by the Nigerian Army.
Kanu, who is being tried on treason charges, was granted bail in March 2017 and was due to appear in court in October 2017 when soldiers laid siege to his home in Isiama Afaraukwu, Abia state on September 14.
