The CEO Of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg took to his social media page on Facebook to announce the company’s move against sharing of explicit materials of sexual nature aimed at attacking unsuspecting exes.

The tech company’s CEO noted that the new tool which will be launched across its social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram will be powered by an Artificial Intelligence tool in order to protect its users.

Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook page wrote: “We’re focused on building a community that keeps people safe. That means building technology and AI tools to prevent harm.

Today we’re rolling out new tools to prevent “revenge porn” from being shared on Facebook, Messenger and Instagram.

Revenge porn is any intimate photo shared without permission. It’s wrong, it’s hurtful, and if you report it to us, we will now use AI and image recognition to prevent it from being shared across all of our platforms.”

In reaction to the latest move by the social media platform, users trooped to the tech company CEO’s page to express their opinion on the latest move with several disclosing that the latest development will go a long way in protecting the privacy of users.
