Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed how he was treated at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he went to honour an invitation extended to him.

The police had invited Fani-Kayode via a letter dated August 20, 2018 over allegations of publishing defamatory materials and inciting the public.

But the former Culture Minister said he was treated with courtesy and professionalism by officers of the Nigerian Police that attended to him.

He also revealed that he was invited because of one of his published articles titled, “Five Useful Idiots and The Spirit Of The Accursed Slave”, in which he examined Fulani herdsmen-linked killings across the country.

Taking to his verified Twitter handle, he said, “Left the IGP’s office after a cordial interview. Police were courteous and professional. I was invited because of my essay titled “Five Useful Idiots and The Spirit Of The Accursed Slave” which was about Fulani hegemony and terrorism. No regrets. I will hit harder and write more.

“Thanks to all those that accompanied me to the Police Headquarters this morning. May God bless you all.”
