The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned the shutdown of Nnamdi Kanu’s facebook page.

Emma Powerful,  IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary has released a statement lambasting the social app for playing into the hands of enemies of the group.

Powerful said Facebook reeked of the corruption it claims to fight. He alleged the people behind the shutdown had become threatened by the group for exposing the evil governance in Nigeria.

“We can confirm that Facebook Nigeria has shut down the page of our leader, Nnamdi Kanu.”

“This is not unconnected with the fact that our leader’s page has become a rich resource for those determined to expose the evil regime in Nigeria and enthrone a better life for the masses.”
