An Iranian official has come out to say that Iran will target key US allies after a top Supreme Iran Leader vowed to avenge the death of General Qassem Soleimani.
Earlier on, one of Iran’s top leaders, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed to take revenge on the US government for killing one of their top soldiers.
Following Khamenei’s public declaration, Iran has pledged to target Americans wherever they are within reach in retaliation for the killing.
The commander of the Guards in the southern province of Kerman, Gholamali Abuhamzeh confirmed the latest threat.
According to Reuters, Abuhamzeh said: The Strait of Hormuz is a vital point for the west and a large number of American destroyers and warships, some 35 U.S targets in the region, as well as Tel Aviv, are within our reach”

A senior congressional staffer also told Time that a retaliation attack from Iran is likely to occur within weeks, either at home or abroad.
The staffer said: ‘There is no indication that there is going to be a de-escalation in the near future. The only question is how bad is the retaliation going to be and where and what is it going to hit.’
