Iran claims 80 American Soldiers Were Killed, 200 Severely Injured in Missile Attacks

Iran claims 80 US Soldiers were killed during the missile attacks launched against US military base in Iraq in the early hours of Wednesday.

This was in retaliation to the assassination of Iranian top General Qasem Soleiman by US government on the order of US President Donald Trump.

However, Iran has made claims that over 200 soldiers were severely injured while 80 soldiers were killed in the ballistic missile attacks.

An Iranian news website, FARS news quoted a source at the IRGC Intelligence saying “Early estimates indicate heavy US casualties in Iran’s missile attack”

“According to the reports sent by our sources in the region to this moment, at least 80 US army personnel have been killed and around 200 others wounded,” he said, adding that the wounded have been evacuated from Ein Al-Assad on choppers.

However, US government have not reported any casualties in the attacks. US President Trump reacting to the news tweeted “All is well”. He boasted the US is well equipped to battle external forces.

“All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning
