Italy issues new anti-coronavirus advice, says no handshakes, no kissing

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has asked citizens of the country to stop kissing and hands shaking due to coronavirus.

The Herald gathered that Conte issued the health decree on Wednesday, March 4, saying it is part of measures to combat the spread of disease in the country.

Italy is battling against the biggest coronavirus outbreak in Europe, with more than 2,500 infections as of late Tuesday, including 79 deaths.

Civil Protection Agency chief, Angelo Borrelli, said: “We are ready to review our actions depending on the scenarios that we will up against, aiming for more strictness or even, we hope, less. This week will definitely be important.”
