Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has berated some Nigerians quick to condemn mass murders in other countries while neglecting the same allegedly happening in the country.

Fani-Kayode condemned the act in the wake of mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas in the United States.

A shooter in El Paso shot 22 people to death and left several others injured, while another shooter in Dayton, 24-year-old Connor Betts, shot nine people, including his sister, to death.

The El Paso shooting is being described as a hate crime since many residents of the city identify as Hispanic.

The shootings have attracted widespread condemnation from all over the world, including Nigeria.

However, the controversial Fani-Kayode noted that no Nigerian was qualified to speak against the mass murders in the United States unless they were prepared to do the same about alleged similar situations in their home country.

He accused “Fulani supremacists” of engaging in “ethnic cleansing and genocide” in Nigeria.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Fani-Kayode wrote, “Any Nigerian that condemns the mass murder that white supremacists and other hate groups have unleashed on America and has REFUSED to condemn the mass murders, ethnic cleansing and genocide that Fulani supremacists have unleashed on Nigeria is an unrepentant and cowardly bastard!”
