A lady, Ms. Amara Felix, has appealed to Nigerians for help over her mother’s medical condition that has left her close to death.
She made the appeal in a series of tweets via her handle @AmaraGoddess on Tuesday, saying she was willing to try both medical and herbal remedies to save her mother’s life.
According to Felix, the cancer first attacked the breast, which was eventually cut off, before returning aggressively and spreading to the “liver, eye, spleen etc”.
She further revealed that her father spent all his life’s savings on getting his wife treatment to no avail. She added that the situation led to her father’s demise in September.
She wrote, “Mum has cancer. We fought it with all we have. All dad’s savings! It became better. Dad died (in) September. It came back aggressively! I don’t know who to ask for help. I can’t even say how I feel. How do I begin.
“It’s now in the liver, eye, spleen, etc. I’ve never been this confused and useless. I don’t know what to do. We haven’t even had time to mourn Dad. I’m scared. (I) can’t even pray anymore.
“After cutting off the breast, spending everything, we are back to square one with even greater pain and even more invasive cancer. I’m ready to try anything herbal or medical. I just need to know what to do.
“She keeps paying for anything anyone says cures cancer online. Most are fake. I know. I don’t blame her. Survival instincts and fear has got hold of her. Please anyone with any herbal opinion. I’m open to trying anything too.”
