Ivory Coast consumer inflation drops to 0.1%

Consumer price inflation in Ivory Coast fell to 0.1 per cent year-on-year in April from 0.4 per cent in March, data from the National Statistics Institute showed on Friday.

The report said food and soft drink prices in the world’s top cocoa grower fell 1.7 per cent year-on-year, while housing and utilities prices declined 0.3 per cent.

Transport costs also shed 1.2 per cent.
