Everton has some big players in their roster, and Iwobi is right up there with the most important. He made his Premier League debut in 2015 and has had eight years at the top level of English soccer.

Iwobi also has a big role to play in the future of the Nigeria national soccer team. The Lagos-born star has racked up over 60 appearances for his national side since making his senior debut back in 2015. He has scored a hatful of goals for the Super Eagles along the way.
Nigeria could do with Iwobi’s expertise after suffering a bad run of form of late. Ahead of the March 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, Nigeria picked up just two wins from 12 matches, losing five in a row between August and November of 2022.
Iwobi has grown into the season and has slowly but surely become a big hit with Everton fans. There are just a couple of months of the 2022-23 league campaign to go, and Iwobi is looking to keep up his fine run of form as Everton seek Premier League survival.
