The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned CBT centres, schools and banks against the sale of UTME forms above N4,000.

The warning was issued by the JAMB registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, on Tuesday during an interactive meeting with stakeholders at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Oloyede said the N3,290 out of the N4,000 paid by the applicant was for the form, N500 for booklet while N210 was deducted as bank charge.

He disclosed that a bank and several other CBT centres and schools in Anambra, Delta, Bayelsa, Enugu, Rivers and Adamawa states were found to have increased the amount of the UTME forms sold to candidates.

The JAMB registrar said punitive measures were taken against them. Oloyede, however, urged all applicants to reports culprits to the nearest NSCDC offices across Nigeria.
