American rapper, Jay- Z has been sued by his former protégé and promoter Raynard Herbert for breaching a contract they had in 1995.

Raynard Herbert made a deal with Jay Z in 1995 to help him promote his debut studio album “Reasonable Doubt “and in return get 1% commision off every record sale but his royalties stopped coming forth in November 2008.

Raynard claims he tried communicating with Jay Z’s reps in 2010 to ask about his royalty payments but was ignored.

As a consequence of Jay Z’s failure to pay Raynard’s royalties he is now been sued for breach of contract and damages.
