Nigeria’s most prominent online job-listing platform, Jobberman has unveiled Workcenta, a new service devoted to helping employers find blue-collar workers including painters, carpenters, cooks, drivers and the like.
According to the company, “Workcenta helps businesses and individuals find trusted, reliable workers- quickly and easily”.
How it works: Potential employers are required to submit a request for a particular type of professional service and Workcenta helps the employer find the most appropriate candidate from a pool of verified and screened individuals in their database.
However, the service works like an agency-type of arrangement in which the employer pays Workcenta on a stipulated date and the company itself pays the workers.
