MOVE on Nigeria (MON), a civic action group has said that only President Goodluck Jonathan will ensure full implementation of the National Conference report because there is no way, All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (rtd.) who boycotted the conference will implement the report.

The group also commended the Yoruba leaders, Afenifere and the Odu’a Peoples Congress (OPC) for supporting President Jonathan’s re-election bid.

In a press release signed by the MON national coordinator, Clem Aguiyi, the group said “When scores are finally taken, the Yoruba leaders will emerge as real heroes of our democracy.

“We praise the courage of the elders who, for the sake of posterity, took a patriotic stand for the love of the people and the nation, knowing they have nothing to lose standing by the truth.

“The confab report, as agreed to by Nigerians, is very important to the Yoruba nation and the rest of Nigeria. There is no way Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, who boycotted such an important national conference and refused to debate his vision for Nigeria, will be interested in implementing the report.

“A vote for Buhari will signal a death knell on the confab report and postponing the evil day for Nigeria, but President Jonathan, if re-elected, will ensure that the report is fully implemented. We are confident President Jonathan will win this election and will provide quality leadership that will usher in peace and stability.”
