With the exit of Zinedine Zidane as the manager of Real Madrid, the Spanish club is in search of a new manager and has reportedly shortlisted Mauricio Pochettino, Max Allegri, Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann.

But Nagelsmann, who became the youngest manager in Bundesliga, has rejected Madrid’s offer to fill in the managerial position of the club.

The 30-year-old, who was born on July 23, 1987, became the coach of Hoffenheim in 2016 and has done a good job so far by qualifying the team for the next Champions League season.

He was awarded the German manager of the season in 2016-2017, and has been on Bayern Munich’s and Borussia Dortmund’s radar for a while now.

His contract with his current club will expire in 2021 but has an exit clause in 2019.

With the Nagelsmann’s rejection, Madrid will have to select from the remaining shortlisted managers.
