Governor Ayodele Fayose will only be allowed to cast his vote and return to his home in Afao-Ekiti during the Saturday, July 14 gubernatorial election in Ekiti.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi, made this known while assuring voters of their security on election day.
Fayemi, who visited Ido / Osi Local Government Area on campaign, urged residents of the council to troop out to perform their civic responsibility that day.
“We will ensure adequate security for voters on election day because if you are not well protected , the election will not be free , fair , credible , transparent , genuine and acceptable.
“Fayose cannot threaten or intimidate anybody on the day of the election. Fayose will only be allowed to cast his vote and he will go back to his house in Afao,” Fayemi said.
