The founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has described candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the July 14 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka as a victim of circumstance.

Recall that Eleka lost the gubernatorial election in the state to candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Kayode Fayemi.

The prophet said that Eleka, who is the outgoing deputy governor of the state, was a victim of the nemesis that eventually caught up with his principal and State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Speaking at a branch of his church in Ikere-Ekiti over the weekend, Ayodele said that Fayose caused his deputy’s defeat by refusing to heed advice.

He disclosed that Fayose branded him a fake prophet when he told him what he (Fayose) must do to ensure Eleka’s victory.

Ayodele stressed that ingratitude, arrogance and self deception of having prophetic utterances among others were traits that he told the governor to drop in order to bring victory to Eleka.

The prophet said, “We foresaw what eventually happened in Ekiti State more than a year ago. Ekiti is also my state. I am from this town, Ikere Ekiti.

“God had asked me to warn Governor Fayose that he had a great deal of work to do to endear the hearts of Ekiti people to himself and also to take care of certain human traits of his that could lead to the defeat of his anointed candidate, Olusola.

“Olusola is just a victim of the nemesis that eventually caught up with Fayose because instead of the governor to listen to voice of reason and prophetic utterances we told him, he branded us fake prophet but now he has seen it.”
