Chelsea striker Diego costa has been left out of Spain’s squad for Euro 2016.
Spanish boss Vicente Del Bosque released the provisional squad list for the tournament and to the surprise of many, Diego Costa is not on it.
In his place is veteran striker Aritz Arduiz who plays for Athletico Bilbao and who has had a great season. Diego Costa was part of the Chelsea team last season that played some of their worst football in a long time and was a shadow of the player who set the Premier League on fire in his first season.
Rising Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez and Real Madrid youngster Lucas Vazquez have also been called up for the initial 25-man squad.
