Former Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) star, Rico Swavey has died.
The Herald learnt that the reality star, whose real name was Patrick Fakoya, died on Thursday.
Confirming his death, another former BBNaija star, Alex Asogwa wrote on Twitter, “This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace.”
Fellow ex-BBNaija star, Tobi Bakre also confirmed the sad news.
Sharing a photo of himself and Rico, Bakre wrote, “This is how I will remember you brother.”
His demise occurred hours after he was placed on life support following his involvement in a ghastly auto accident on Monday.
A statement on Rico Swavey’s Twitter page had called for prayers as well as donations to sort his medical bills.
”Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support.
”While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers,” a statement by his management team had said.
