The Department of State Services (DSS) has released former presidential candidate, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia.
It was gathered that the DSS quizzed Mailafia, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for more than seven hours at its Plateau State office before he was released.
He had earlier been invited by the secret police over some claims in an interview with an Abuja-based radio station, including that a sitting governor in the north was the commander of Boko Haram.
Mailafia also claimed that Boko Haram in the North-East and bandits terrorising the north-west and north-central zones of the country were one and the same thing.
