Roberto Mancini’s Italian side has clinched Euro 2020 via a penalty win over the Three Lions of England, thanks to Gianluigi Donnarumma’s heroics.

Luke Shaw scored the Euro final’s fastest goal to put Gareth Southgate’s side ahead in the 2nd minute but Italian defender, Leonardo Bonucci equalised in the 67th minute.

With the game level at 1-1 in regulation time, both sides headed into a further 30 minutes of extra time that also ended in a stalemate.

In the ensuing penalty, Domenico Berardi scored Italy’s first kick of the night and England captain, Harry Kane also converted his spot kick to draw level.

Harry Maguire converted to put England in front after an Andrea Belotti miss for Italy.

Bonucci and Federico Bernardeschi scored the next two kicks for Italy as Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho both missed for the Three Lions.

Despite a Jorginho miss, Bukayo Saka’s miss ensured that Italy clinched the title with a 3-2 penalty victory.
