Music star, Jennifer Lopez and former baseball player, Alex Rodriguez say they have ended their four-year relationship but would remain as friends.
J-Lo, 51, and A-Rod, 45, confirmed their split on Thursday, weeks after denying the news of a break-up.
“We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.
“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects…
“We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” they said in a joint statement published by Today.

Reports had circulated two weeks ago that the All I Have crooner and the former New York Yankees player were having “extensive issues” and had broken off their two-year engagement.
However, they denied the reports, claiming that they were “working through things”.
Lopez and Rodriguez began dating in 2017 and got engaged in March 2019.
