The Lagos State Police Command says it would today arraign a popular musician, Panshak Henry Zamani aka Ice Prince for driving without license plates and abducting and assaulting a police officer.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a tweet.
He said that Ice Prince was stopped at 3:00 am today for driving without license plates.
The police spokesman explained that the musician agreed to be taken to the station.
Hundeyin added that Ice Prince thereafter abducted the officer and assaulting him in his car.
He added that the musician also threatened to throw the officer into the river.
The police imagemaker said the suspect has been arrested and would be arraigned in court today.
