Thugs armed with dangerous weapons have attacked peaceful EndSARS protesters in Osun State.
Reports reaching The Herald say the attack occurred at Olaiya Junction in the state capital, Osogbo around 9 am Saturday.
One person identified as Oloyede was confirmed injured as the hoodlums macheted him.
Although the protesters initially dispersed to escape the attack, they were said to have regrouped at the Technical College Area of the metropolis.
The attack came hours after EndSARS protesters organised a #CandleLight demonstration in remembrance of SARS victims across the nation.
No fewer than 10 persons have been killed by security agents and hoodlums across the nation since the protests began last week.
The Herald reported Friday that a protester was macheted to death by thugs in Benin City, Edo State on Friday.
The Edo State Government gave the security agencies a 24-hour ultimatum to fish out the perpetrators.
