Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a pastor with the Deeper Life Bible Church, Otamayomi Ogedengbe from a branch of the church in Ondo State.
It was learnt that Ogedengbe, a former Director with the Ondo State Ministry of Education, was abducted at 8:37 pm on Monday.
It was learnt that Ogedengbe went to the church located at Onigari area of Shagari Village, Akure in the company of his wife.
The cleric, an indigene of Akungba Akoko, was said to have been abducted by the unknown gunmen that stormed the church in a black Toyota Corolla vehiche.

The victim’s wife confirmed the incident, saying that they came to the church together when the gunmen arrived and abducted him.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ondo, Tee Leo Ikoro also confirmed the abduction of the cleric.
He disclosed that the police, Amotekun Corps and local hunters have formed a joint team to search for the abducted cleric.
“Yes the clergyman was abducted by some gunmen who stormed his church and whisked him away.
“The police commissioner Bolaji Salami has directed detectives to ensure the release of the clergyman,” Ikoro said.
