Kaduna State Pilgrims Board hands over deceased pilgrims’ belongings to families

Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says it has handed over the luggage and monies of the state’s four pilgrims who died during 2017 Hajj to their families.

A statement by the board’s Spokesman, Yunusa Abdullahi, on Thursday in Kaduna, stated that
the belongings were handed over by a five-man committee which visited families of the pilgrims.

Abdullahi stated that the deceased were Abdulwahab Tukur, Warisu Abdullahi , Ya’u Sulaiman and Capt. Dayyibat Isa from Makarfi, Soba, Birnin Gwari, and Kaduna North local government areas.

 

 

He conveyed the board’s condolences to the families and people of the local government areas over the death of the pilgrims.

He stated that the Overseer of the board, Imam Hussaini Ikara, prayed Almighty Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
