The former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Kalu has tasked western countries to support the Buhari-led administration in its anti-corruption polices especially in exposing corrupt serving and ex-officials who have looted the country.

The challenge was raised while Kalu was speaking in Washington D.C, United States where he received a delegation of graduate African students of the National War College.

He said; “The international intelligence agencies have a critical role to play in fishing out those that have stolen the common wealth of Nigerians.”

The Former Governor himself who is facing corruption charges maintained that the anti-graft agency, EFCC, has misplaced its priorities and was being converted to a political tool by the Olusegun Obasanjo regime.

Speaking on Biafra and the supporters of the Movement, Kalu maintained that the pro-Biafran protagonists have approached the matter in a wrong way, he added that the Movement will not redress the genuine pains of Ndigbo in the polity.

He further lamented on the marginalisation of the South East in every facet of the government noting that 46 years after the civil war, the region has not been fully integrated into the Nigerian nation.
