It appears that the feud between Umar Ganduje, the governor of Kano State, and its kingmakers would not end any time soon as the latter have taken a huge step by hiring seven Senior advocates of Nigeria, and seventeen lawyers to represent them in court.

The kingmakers have persistently tackled the governor’s move to decentralize the Kano Emirates by creating more Emirates in the state.

However, since their initial pleads were not heeded, they have headed to court to sort out their differences with the Kano State governor and House of Assembly members, albeit in an overwhelming manner.
