Kano: Ganduje opens Testing centre for Christians

Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has opened a testing centre for Christians in Sabon Gari, Kano as part of efforts to speed up the testing process of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the state.

In a meeting held with members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kogi Chapter, Ganduje said the testing centre will ensure Christians are able to test without interference from others

Daily Post quoted Ganduje saying: ‘The testing center exists in Sabon Gari, such that a Christian can go to the place and test himself or go to his Church and the NCDC can follow him to test him there’.

“And after the testing, if one is positive he or she can be taken to the isolation center or he can decide to stay at home on self-isolation”,

Meanwhile, Reverend Samuel Adeyemi CAN Chairmandisclosed that 31 churches have been fumigated to mitigate the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
