Kano Govt Extends Investigation Into Paedophile Acts In Boys Secondary School

The Kano State Government has granted one week extension to the fourteen man committee set up to investigate the alleged child abuse at Dr Hassan Gwarzo College, a boys boarding secondary school.

This was disclosed by the Deputy Governor Professor Hafiz Abubakar in a statement issued by his Director of press Usman Bello

The  extension, according to the Statement, followed a request by the committee to that effect, is to enable them make a thorough investigation on the issue.

The Deputy Governor therefore appealed to all concerned parties to continue to cooperate with the government in its effort to address the matter on its merit.
