Kendrick Lamar, a 30 year old Compton rap superstar, Kendrick Lamar has splurged recently on a new mansion estate, costing him a whooping $2.65million the mansion is located in the upscale LA suburb of Calabasas, California.
TMZ Reports however that, the “Humble” rapper will not live in the mansion which has over 5400 square feet, boasting six bedrooms and six bathrooms, as the property is said to be an investment.
An insider source who verified the purchase stated:
‘Kendrick will not live in the home It’s strictly for investment. Truth be told, entertainers who use their money to buy investment properties almost always score big over time.’
The new home offers all the amenities required for a modern mansion. A beautiful ivy-covered entrance-way welcomes visitors to the property. It has a beautiful pool with surrounding lounge area, master bathroom featuring his-and-hers vanity areas, there are double-sided fireplaces, a home gym, theater and gorgeous panoramic views of the city. while the inside of the home has both marble and hard-wood flooring among others.
Kendrick has proven to be financially astute over the years. In 2014, Lamar purchased a modest 4-bedroom home outside the Los Angeles city limits for $523,500 and instead of gifting his younger sister with a high-end luxury vehicle for her graduation, he copped her a Toyota Camry instead.
