Some critics went as far as discussing the changes of Khadija entering heaven by her actions.

“MURIC the emir’s daughter is not putting on a hijab and she is shaking not just a man but a pastor is it not haram for a woman to shake a man in Islam. There is even sharia law in Kano state o… This is unacceptable”

Khadijah  then responded to them stating that their option mean nothing to her.

She wrote:

“A random person posted a picture of me and people are insulting me in the replies because I’m shaking the hands of the vp. Someone even said his whatsapp group was arguing over it/me. I honestly can’t imagine dedicating so much time to judging anyone.

“I wanna go to heaven, please Imagine not making it to heaven because you spent more time on earth gossiping about people than praying/fasting/remembering God.”
