The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the presence of suspected kidnappers operating in the Lekki area of the state.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said in a Thursday statement that the command has commenced in-depth investigation into the matter.

Hundeyin’s statement followed the circulation of a video in which a middle-aged man with a bloodied face narrated how he was abducted by some “Hausa”-speaking kidnappers operating in a commercial bus.
