Kidnapped former Minister of Sports, Damishi Sango has regained his freedom.
Sango, who is also the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state, was kidnapped alongside an elder of the party, Chief Emmanuel Mangni.
Sango’s son and police orderly were also kidnapped alongside the former minister.
The kidnappers had earlier demanded a N100 million ransom before reducing it to N50 million.
The victims who were kidnapped two days to Saturday’s National Convention of the PDP were released on Sunday.
They were kidnapped on Wednesday in Kaduna en-route Abuja.
The Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Plateau, John Akans confirmed the release.
