For the wanton destruction visited on them by killer herdsmen, Benue communities affected will be rehabilitated with N10 billion.
According to Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo revealed this when he paid a visit to Internally-Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in the state on Tuesday.
Osinbajo was quoted to have said that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the rehabilitation fund.
Akande said, “President Buhari approves a total of N10bn for the rehabilitation of communities affected by violent attacks in parts of the country.
“Vice President Osinbajo made the disclosure today (Tuesday) during his visits to two IDP camps in Benue State.”
