Kanye West had to pull out of a show earlier than scheduled after he was informed of a family emergency.
The rapper who was performing at the two day music and arts festival featuring other acts including Chance The Rapper, J. Cole, Empire Of The Sun, The 1975 and Damian Marley had to pull out of the performance after he was called aside by his assistant.
The news was that hhis wife, Kim Kardashian had been held at gun point on Monday at her Paris Hotel room.
Speaking on the incident, Kim Kardashian’s spokesperson, Ina Treciokas told DailyMail.com: “Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.
“She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
According to reports, the incident happened between 3 and 4 am.
However, details of the incident remains unclear at the moment.
Kanye upon hearing the news quit his show at Meadows Festival in Queens, New York which he appeared on stage 30 minutes late.
