One of the notorious Matharoo sisters, Kiran Matharoo, has been arrested at an airport in Venice, Italy on Wednesday according to reports.
According to Italian newspaper Il Gazzettino, Kiran Matharoo was arrested as she disembarked a flight at Venice’s Marco Polo Airport on an international arrest warrant.
She is said to have been arrested in relation to alleged sex-tortion claims against Kiran and her sister Jyoti in Nigeria.
The two sisters were arrested in Nigeria based on allegations of blackmail in December, 2016.
They were accused of allegedly swindling about 274 men using sex tape blackmail strategies. One of their allegedly victims was Billionaire Femi Otedola.
However, the Canadian Kardashians denied everything.
They are said to have told Toronto Life magazine, that they’re just restaurant and fashion consultants; enterprising young women who happened to catch the eye of wealthy playboys in Africa and southeast Asia.
According to Toronto Life, the pair have re-embraced their beloved social media, posting photos of their day-to-day lives.
And Jyoti said she wants to write a book.
“I want to call it How to Meet a Billionaire,” she said. “It would sell out.”
