Klopp Is Usually Dishonest About His Teams- Wagner

Huddersfield manager, David Wagner, has said that Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp has a history of being a little dishonest when it comes to the state of his teams after an international break.

The German manager, who worked under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, said he had been with the charismatic manager for long enough to know when he was having a bit of a moan

Liverpool might be missing a number of key players with Salah, Van Dijk, Keita, Milner and Mane all doubtful for the game against Huddersfield, but Wagner is not taking anything for granted and fully expects to face a full strength squad on Saturday.

“I have known Jurgen long enough, I know he loves to use smoke screens,” Wagner told media.

“I expect that most of his players will be available.

“I have known him long enough and he likes to moan after the international break!”

When Klopp was asked about the state of his squad, he was evasive in his answers, but did admit that regardless of any injury, he has a strong squad to pick from.

“One-and-a-half weeks ago everybody was quite happy or satisfied with the situation; one-and-a-half weeks later, we miss a few players,” Klopp said. “That’s the situation, we cannot change it.”

“At the end, there will be a really strong side wearing a Liverpool shirt going to Huddersfield and then we will see what we can get there.”

While Mane and Keita might be genuine problems, Van Dijk and Salah are fully expected to take part in the game.
