Kwara Records Two Coronavirus Cases

Coronavirus has hit the borders of Kwara State with the announcement of two new cases by the State Government.

The discovery of both Coronavirus cases was announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye in his capacity as the spokesperson for the COVID-19 response committee.

According to several unconfirmed sources which the state government denies, the index Coronavirus patient was already deceased.

One of the new cases announced is said to be the wife of the index case while the other is a recent UK returnee.
“Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID-19 sadly confirms two separate cases of COVID-19 in the state.

“One is the wife of the UITH patient, a UK returnee, who died last Thursday and the other is another UK returnee.”

The spokesperson said in a statement.
