A lady has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after she was found guilty of making up bogus rape and sex assault claims against 15 men over a period of three years for attention.

The lady, Jemma Beale, described herself as a fantasist. She claimed to be a lesbian with no desire to be with men but has over the period of three years lodged deceitful complaints to police leading to one of her accused bagging two years prison term and another serving an extended jail term.

Mahad Cassim, one of her victims who is serving two years behind jail was accused of rape after he offered her a lift home.

However, against her claim, she had told the victim to ‘Get your pants down’ after she got out of his car and threatened to injure herself and use self-inflicted cuts and bruises against him and 14 others.

Jemma however insisted that she had been raped and after five weeks of trial, the Southwark Crown Court found her guilty after the pronouncement of a jury of six men and five women.

The decision by the court took eight hours and 45 minutes before the serial accuser was found guilty of perjury, and perverting the course of justice in July.

The presiding judge, Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith said: “This trial has revealed, what was then not obvious, that you are a very, very convincing liar and you enjoy being seen as a victim.

“The prosecution described your life as a “construct of bogus victimhood”.
